LCC Connect is the voices, vibes and vision of Lansing Community College, offering original programming hosted by faculty and staff that explores LCC’s work on campus and in the community, including arts-focused programs such as Art Happens Here and Arts, Artists and Advocates.

In partnership with Michigan Radio, LCC Connect can be heard on WLNZ 89.7 FM from 1-3 p.m. Saturdays and 6-8 p.m. Sundays.

Art Happens Here is hosted by Bruce Mackley highlighting the fascinating sculptures and art on campus. Arts, Artists and Advocates is hosted by Dr. Tonya Bailey talking with artists who are making a difference through arts and diversity, equity and inclusion activism. Creativity is also explored on Galaxy Forum hosted by Melissa Kaplan with guests discussing the creative work being done in LCC’s classrooms and how that connects with the community to help students pursue their goals and dreams.

Other programs include Alumni Stories and Teachable Moment both hosted by LCC President Steve Robinson, Community Conversations (Bo Garcia), Shining Stars (Daedalian Lowry), The Safety Plan (Paul Schwartz) and Who’s That Star (Julianna Blain).
