Celebrate Día de los Muertos!

Everyone is invited to attend Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The Hispanic Heritage Committee at Lansing Community College invites you to celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a joyful tradition honoring loved ones who have passed. Join us to help create a beautiful ofrenda (altar) to remember those we’ve lost.

The celebration takes place in the Cesar Chavez Multicultural Center and includes:

  • Skull Painting – Express yourself through art while honoring the tradition of Día de los Muertos
  • Altar Creation – Add personal photos or items to the altar, which will be on display in the CCMC for the entire LCC community to view

Students and community members are invited to participate.

The Cesar Chavez Multicultural Center is located in Room 1313 of the Arts & Sciences Building.

Note: Your contributed items can be retrieved from the CCMC office on Nov. 4.
