When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he’s a demigod, he and his friends embark on an epic journey to find Zeus’ missing lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods. To succeed, Percy must do more than catch a thief, he must navigate friendship, family and a perilous journey into the underworld in an action-packed mythical adventure.
Janus Hoang plays Percy Jackson, and the cast includes Bo Moncur – Mr. D, Kurt Cobain, Chris Pongracz – Grover, Davis – Aunty Em, Hades, and others, Elaina Coscarella – Sally, Charon, and others, Isabella Edmonds-Hogan – Annabeth, Izzy Comming – Silena, Janis Joplin, Sister Fury, and others, Jonathan Riley – James Brown, Poseidon, and others, Lauren Spadafora – Clarisse, Mrs. Dodds, and others, Mikaila Orlowski – Katie Gardner, Thalia, Bianca, and others, Olivia Hammond – Mr Brunner (Chiron), Oracle, and others, Simon Menold – Ares, Luke, and others, Tobi Robinson – Gabe, Mozart, Newscaster, and others, and Lliam Hamilton-Kraft – Percy Understudy.
Performances are at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 18-19 and Oct. 25-26, and 2 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 20 & 27 on LCC’s Downtown Campus in Dart Auditorium, 500 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing. Free parking is available on the streets around campus and in the Gannon Ramp.
Admission to this and other season productions is free! Guests will still need to stop by the box office to pick up a seat voucher in order to gain entry into the auditorium. Reservations will not be accepted.
